Today’s work environment requires employees to not only be skilled in performing complex tasks in an efficient and cost-effective manner but also to be independent thinkers making good decisions based on limited information. This means being able to rely on ever upgraded skill sets to generate expected performance.

The conundrum continues to be: whether to recruit the new skills required or to invest in training to develop the required competencies.

The arguments in support of training are many: however whether you are new to the task or activity, e.g. marketing, or an experienced professional, it is important to remain current and effective. This means keeping abreast of the latest trends and techniques to either further your personal careers, or continue the professional development crucial to successful organisations.

The Business School, in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing – UK invites you to download one or more of our free Marketing Certification/Training Solution Guides, to start your journey to effectively close any existing skills gaps.
