The Business
School in April 2007, has expanded their operations to Region 6. The New
Business School Branch located at 19 Pope Street, New Amsterdam, will be
providing tuition to students for a number of regional and international
examinations, including: CXC, Association of Business Executives, University
of Cambridge International, American Management Association and Certified
Accounting Technician.
These programs
will attract high school students and employed and unemployed individuals
and will commence 23rd April 2007.
The various
academic programmes will be flexible and affordable and will allow
individuals to pursue career ambitions in Accountancy, Management and
Business Management and of course to ensure CXC students a grade 1 pass in a
wide range of subjects. Students will have access to all facilities offered
at the main campus including online computer examinations and access to
state of the art tuition delivery and up to date materials. We have
observed that the Berbice area has been experiencing development in
infrastructure and commercial activities. However, the delivery of quality
service has been lagging behind. Our intention is to partner with both the
Private and Public Sectors in order to improve the level of Human Resources
in the county.
A survey carried
out in Berbice indicates the need for Quality Educational Services in the
area. The College hopes to provide employment for twenty (20) persons
residing in the Berbice area. Qualified lecturers including retired
educators are welcomed to join our winning team. |
